Outbound Sales Development Representative

As our Outbound Sales Development Resource, you will be on the cutting edge of what AWL is offering our partners – a fully outsourced sales and marketing solution.  You will act directly on behalf of our carrier partners to vet and qualify consumers who AWL engages online and over the phone, who are looking for insurance coverage.  We are currently hiring unlicensed individuals with a strong desire to help people while working from home as part of a virtual team to improve the customer experience and help the team achieve better results. This role is designed to transition you into an inbound licensed Property & Casualty insurance.  This a full-time position.

General Responsibilities:

  • Handle outbound telephone sales inquiries using your exceptional phone and interpersonal skills
  • Meet or exceed daily/weekly/monthly targets for qualified opportunities
  • Accurately record all required consumer information into a third party quoting system


  • Demonstrated success selling a product or service over the phone
  • Experience following a structured, disciplined approach to sales
  • Exceptional phone, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Thrives in a high‐tech, fast‐paced, team‐oriented environment
  • Exudes enthusiasm, a positive attitude, self‐motivation, and strong work ethic
  • Possesses computer skills and web literacy, with proficiency in Word and Outlook
  • Experience in the Insurance Field is a plus, but not required
