Job Description

As our Business Intelligence Analyst based in Austin, TX, you will use your broad skill set and passion for data to extend the All Web Leads business intelligence platform. Data is at the core of all our decision making at AWL and the BI team is responsible for aggregating, analyzing, reporting on, and translating all of this data into insights which drive our business forward.  You will interact closely with executives, stakeholders, engineers, and other analysts to optimize the business.   • Utilizing internal tools, SQL, MS Excel, and other reporting tools, build custom reports that will drive core business decisions
  • Validating the correctness and accuracy of internal and external report data
  • Preparing and presenting daily and weekly metrics reports for business stakeholders
  • Providing situation specific analyses to support business critical decisions
  • Identifying new business opportunities and quantifying risks


  • Bachelor’s degree, ideally in finance, accounting, statistics, economics, math, or related field
  • Strong analytical skill set for translating business requirements into reports
  • Ability to think strategically and to relate data to strategic decisions
  • 5+ years experience with Microsoft Excel; expert-level formula and pivot table development
  • Experience with SQL
  • Knowledge of economics, statistics, and classical Newtonian calculus
  • Intellectual curiosity (wanting to know what makes things tick – both in the sense of technology, and analytics, as it relates to our business)
  • Passion for use of data and technology to explore and solve problems
  • A mind that seeks to optimize

Preferred Qualifications (bonus but not required)

  • Statistics background/ Predictive analytics
  • Experience with Tableau or QlikSense
  • Experience with Python or other scripting languages/light programming
  • Familiarity with GAAP accounting rules (preferred, but not required)
  • Familiarity with financial markets (preferred, but not required)
